Swegltek Detachable Pure Fiber HDMI Cable | MPO Modular Design | 5–100m
Modular HDMI Connectivity for Planned AV Installations
Build a clean connection between your HDMI source and display with the Swegltek Detachable Pure Fiber HDMI Cable. A blue optical cable links two HDMI modules through separate MPO connections, making it easier to plan conduit routing and reconnect the modules after the fiber is in place.
Detach at the MPO Joint
The HDMI housing stays attached to its black pigtails. The detachable joint is farther along the optical pigtail, where the MPO connector meets a separate coupler. Disconnect this joint to separate the HDMI module assembly from the main optical cable; the HDMI housing itself does not open for installation.
Route the Fiber, Then Reconnect
Route the blue main cable and its compact optical connector through a suitable conduit, then reconnect the MPO joints outside the conduit. This keeps the larger HDMI module assemblies out of the cable pathway and makes the connection points easy to identify.
Optical Cable with Separate Auxiliary Power
The main link uses optical fiber. Each HDMI module has a separate USB auxiliary power lead, distinct from its optical pigtail. Where auxiliary power is needed, connect the power lead to a suitable USB supply. The USB branches provide auxiliary power; they are not USB data connections.
For Home Cinema and Professional AV Projects
- Home cinema: plan a concealed route between an equipment area and an HDMI display or projector.
- Meeting rooms: organize connections between source equipment and a room display.
- AV installations: use modular optical joints where access to connection points matters.

- Test the complete connection with your intended source and display before permanent installation.
- Identify the source and display modules before routing. Keep the module labels visible.
- Disconnect at the MPO joints. Keep optical ends clean and protected.
- Use a conduit suitable for the connector size. Avoid sharp bends and tension on the optical connectors.
- Reconnect the MPO joints, connect the HDMI modules and provide auxiliary USB power where needed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where does the cable detach?
At the MPO joint and separate coupler, not at the HDMI housing. The black pigtails remain attached to the HDMI modules.
Does the USB branch carry data?
No. It is an auxiliary power connection for the HDMI module.
Can I use any MPO cable or replace the HDMI modules with other interfaces?
Use matched components. MPO connector appearance alone does not establish fiber arrangement, polarity or module compatibility.
How do I choose a length?
Measure the complete cable route, including rises, corners and access to connection points, before selecting a variant.

Extend USB-C Video to a DisplayPort Display
The swegltek SCTD-1200 USB-C to DisplayPort active optical cable connects a compatible USB-C video
source to a DisplayPort monitor, projector or professional display. Its integrated cable design provides a
direct display connection for equipment layouts that need more distance between the source and screen.
4K Video at 60Hz
Support for video up to 4K at 60Hz makes this USB-C to DP cable suitable for clear presentations, digital
signage and professional visual content. The supported resolution and refresh rate depend on the source,
display and complete system configuration.
DisplayPort 1.2 Optical Transmission
With DisplayPort 1.2 support and link bandwidth up to 21.6Gbps, this active optical cable uses fiber for
high-speed signal transmission along the cable run. The bandwidth rating describes the DisplayPort link;
this product is intended for display connectivity.
Length Options from 5m to 50m
Choose a 5m, 7.5m, 10m, 15m, 20m, 25m, 30m, 35m, 40m, 45m or 50m USB-C to DisplayPort cable to suit
the installation route. Allow for cable routing, connector access and equipment position when selecting
your length. Contact swegltek for project quantities or other length requirements within the 5–50m range.
Designed for Professional Display Installations
Conference rooms: connect compatible USB-C presentation sources to DisplayPort displays.
Digital signage: place compatible media source equipment farther from the screen.
Workstations: position the computer away from the display area.
AV installations: plan longer point-to-point video and audio cable routes to compatible DP equipment.
Check Your USB-C Video Output
Connect the USB-C end to a source that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and the DisplayPort end to the
display input. A USB-C connector alone does not guarantee video output. Confirm source and display
compatibility, installation direction and power requirements before ordering.
